Hi All

When I turn left i have a screeching, stone stuck noise, it is intermittent which annoys me! any views

Was going to suggest turn right only, but I won't!

Is it ion a hard / full lock type turn or gentle turn on open road?

Either squealy belt or something stiff on the steering/suspension (which could be on either side I guess) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Only at slow speeds, especially noticeable when stopping, thought it was a stone as disappeared for a week or so, now back again! Off to the garage Monday i think

Mine did this last night after a 120 mile drve home, not doing it today

I did used to get a screeching/graunching noise at low speed (usually when parked or parking), turning wheel to left only. Noise occured when not moving too! Only happened in very cold weather (or weather was very cold at the time!?!) Went away @ 3 years ago, and never came back. .

Sounds like a dry ball joint... Quite often customers come in and you can just turn the steering wheel and there is a very loud graunch/squeak... Almost always a dry balljoint

Often disappears with rain Then returns once we have had a week or so of sun

A week of sun constitutes a summer up here however sounds like my issue, will book it in
