So I've done all the plumbing for my house from the cold supply onwards - apart from the heating and the boiler.

Recently I connected it all up. No leaks, everything works ok apart from very low hot water pressure. Given I have a really large bath it's taking ages to fill.

I connect the cold water to the hot water system to blow out any air. Pressure is fine - so no kinks or blockages in the pipes I've put in.

So I call the plumber who installed the boiler thinking they're going to have to install a pump.

He spends 20 mins doing some diagnostics then says it's the valve from the hot water boiler that they put in the wrong way round. He changed it and all is well.

Almost the only thing I didn't do myself is the thing that was f d!

hate plumbing or any thing to do with water in the house...

you did well to do all that work that you did david... ... - .- -.

AAHHHH. Not again! I've screwed thought the poxy pipe!
I'm very DIY handy, so it's very embarrassing etc, and you get told over and over again, by the missus as she forgets how much we saved by me doing all the work in the first place, like builders NEVER cock things up!
