Iphone contacts

Gents I have read a plethora of posts on this and am now confused so help required
My issue is that only some contacts appear on the touch screen under contacts but if under dialled or missed they appear so do I have an issue with the iPhone / the car or me ? I suspect the iPhone and me so how do I get all the contacts in the contacts list?

the contacts have to be on the phone and not the sim card..maybe you have a few on the phone and they are the ones that show up.. ... - .- -.

I have made sure they are all imported to phone but noticed I have 798 contacts and recall seeing something about a limit of 300 is this correct?

300 contacts is correct I'm afraid!

But if you go for the 2010 onwards module it holds 1,000 contacts and show multiple numbers per name. Still not that great......

You can limit the number that the iphone tries to sync to the car (settings>bluetooth>[your car] (i) - so press the little (i)nfo button). If you have set up folders, you can tell it which folder you want to have. I keep a folder called "bluetooth sync"
