Hi,

IDD Tool arrived and got it running (Thanks to Patrick from GAP!).
Did adjust the ride height: perfect guidance with the manual!
But.....reading faults gave me some heart attack I got sooo many faults and as I don't understand most of them I hope you experienced L322 IID Tool users are willing to help me to cure from my heart attack
Here I have a list of faults found (I didn't clear a single one of them because I first want to know what it is):

Scrap it and buy a new one

I would just do a full reset, then reinterrogate at a later time to see if any reoccur, that way you can narrow down to any potential issues.

Ps, mine had much the same quantity wise with many related to non issues like audio system GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

those faults are probably logged since 2005 so as suggested ,clear them and see what you have in a weeks time.. ... - .- -.

4/4 5212 – Battery undervoltage (OX5212)

If it actually means your battery isn't supplying the correct voltage, then knowing the multitude of faults people seem to get from a degraded battery, I'd sort the battery, clear the faults and then see what you have in a weeks time....

Can anyone who knows about ID tool fault reporting give more info on this particular fault?

Also, as Stan said, if they are all the faults logged since 2005 I would not worry  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Showing its reliability if it has not been near a main dealer or indie with diagnostics for 9 years (unless they don't clear faults on plugging in?)

As suggested, clear them all then check in a week or two to see what comes back. Even then some of them can be safely ignored, e.g.

IP Instrument Pack 1/5 BD-EBV function fault received from ABS ECU << this will keep coming back!

Post back your output in a week or so  .

As Graeme and Stan say, just reset and put a brand new battery in. Battery low voltage indeed gives you the impression the car is going to disintegrate in seconds . The ECUs' just can't handle lower voltages and start thinking the world is coming to an end NOW.

It is probably caused by the signals from a number of sensors coming back with a slightly too low voltage on their signal, due to the low input voltage from the battery and then the ECUs see that as something wrong with whatever the sensor is measuring, hence the fault. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Clear the faults using the IIDTool then see what comes back. I'd hold off on the battery for now until you're sure it needs a new one, yes it was flat once - but we've all been there  Geoff

Thanks for your replies and curing me from my heart attack
Just ckecked the battery yesterday and it was 12.28 V so probably it had its best time, but I will leave it in now. Today I'm going to clear the faults and then keep the fingers crossed for the next week or so

a bit late....but finally a post with the results! May we have your votes please

cleared all the faults, and did check them regularly: most of them where goone for good, but some of them kept coming back

So the suspected battery was checked and checked again and also the charging system: system seemed to be OK, but not the battery. Also couldn't charge the battery with a charger. So decided to fit a new battery. Varta Silver Dynamic arrived today and fitted as per Wikii (worked out perfect). Used the car after that (5-6 times starting up!) and didn't get the HDC fault as I used the car this evening

Think that these faults were due to the battery.

Good result, as the faults have gone, so anything which now may pop up is a new relevant fault. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
