DVD Cartridge refusing to eject! Alpine system.

Afternoon all!

Blue eject button is lit up, slide open the small window/door and press the eject button, nothing happens. I can switch on the rear screens and also the front screen.

Any ideas anyone?

Many Thanks.

Mine did this when I was having trouble - does yours work or do you get 'Mecha Error'?

No, no Mecha Error. all 3 little green lights are on, on the main dvd housing, and i did have the blue eject button lit, but thats not lit now. When i select DVD from the touchscreen, it just says 'DVD 0' on the msg centre under the clocks/dials. 2011 TDV8 Autobiography

Hi Pete, I had this very problem on my nearly collected 2007 4.2 SC. I found that the button needs a GOOD push. I was expecting a slight touch would operate it but no it needs a push.

Cheers
