Exhaust tip replacement

Cleaning the car yesterday and scrubbing on the exhaust tips which are pretty scratched up. I called the dealer to see out of curiosity if the tips could be purchased. He said yes and quoted me $375.00 US for 1 side and $405.00 for the other and $1,100 for a whole new exhaust?? Can that be correct?? Thx! Mike

Thanks for reply! I guess if they are replaceable then they could simply be taken off and re-chromed. Mike
