I turn the voice off altogether. I have a reasonable sense of direction and, if in doubt, I glance at the screen.. It is generally only the last couple of miles where I need help anyway. Voice guidance dis just annoying most of the time. |

Thanks, but how exactly do you turn the voice off completely, while still being able to listen to the radio? Please tell me how you do it..

Further to my last reply to Emperor Mong, the interruptions I describe are independent of the normal Sat Nav voice guidance; I never have those on for the very reason that it cuts into whatever I am listening to on the audio. So even with normal voice guidance off completely, I still get the announcement coinciding with the visual warning that traffic conditions have changed.
