Top 5 tunes of all time

So, following on from this thread, http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic25358.html

What would be your all time top 5 tunes? I can't recall anything in the last 20 years or so that would come close to my love of 60's, 70's and 80's stuff. I still think you can't have a band without a real drummer or real guitarists. Somehow the whole electronic thing seems really hollow and synthetic, incomplete even.

Anyway, mine.
1. Stairway to Heaven. Led-Zep.
2. We will rock you. Queen
3. Brown Sugar. Rolling Stones.
4. Purple Haze. Jimi Hendrix.
5. Go your own way. Fleetwood Mac.

In fairness keeping to 5 is really tough but if I had to pick 5 to have on continuous repeat these would be the ones. What are yours?

Led Zep is to rock music what Shakespeare is to literature. A huge gulf between them and the rest.

I play the drums (very badly), and my kit is quite similar to Bonham's. Can't say I play like him though. Laughing He's a god behind the drums. No one like him, even today, and very few drummers understand power like he did. Example, listen to the bass drum in Kashmir. It sounds like an earthquake. It's because he's playing a slight flam with it - how brilliant is that!

Wauw, that is nice to see we have plenty rockers here !!

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Tie your mother down - Queen
Nothing Else matters - Metallica
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
Bring me to life - Evanescence

5 songs doesn't even come close to all the stuff I like. ACDC (too many to list), Queen (almost all their songs, by far my favourite band ever), Metallica (before St. Anger, love S&M), Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Rolling Stones (waiting for a friend, paint it black), The Who, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin (that started this thread), U2, Ultravox, Madness (was a big Ska fan in my highschool days Smile ), Ilse de Lange (she was the female half of the Songfestival second place, brilliant in her own right), Golden Earring, Anouk, Kayak (Ruthless Queen), Scorpions, Status Quo, Kiss, Queensryche (take hold of the flame especially), Rammstein, Van Halen, Toto, Dido, The Police, Coldplay, Guano Apes (Open your eyes), Kate Bush etc. etc. etc.

Well 60's, 70's and 80's are just so incredibly brilliant for music (I do like Dance and Trance a lot but don't think even Tiesto can come close to what these "oldies" can do).

Love this thread as I love music !!!! Can't wait to have my FFRR here (the sound system is the high end one) and my speakers/amplifier etc. from my container !!! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
