I use auto glym fast glass, but like most things, don't put too much on and give it a thorough wipe off.

The reason newspaper was supposedly great was the fact that there was ammonia in the ink and ammonia is great for cleaning. I used it to prep for painting (as highschool student I used to moonlight as a house painter and made good money) houses. First clean was water with ammonia until the old paint was quite clean, sand and then do a last clean with water and ammonia. Paint lasted for a long time.

I've always found autoglym car glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth give A1 results (NOT the 'fast glass', as this is designed to clean plastic / perspex rather than glass - but it works a treat on the tin tent windows) 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!) |
