6HP26 oil and filter change

Hi guys,

It looks like i have a leak from the mechatronic connector at the rear of my transmission.

I had a look in Wiki for advice, but only found reference to the 5HP and to getting it checked at the dealers.

Has anyone done a filter and oil change on the 6HP? I have to take the pan off to release the electrical connector so wanted some guidance on things to watch out for.

Also, what's the best oil to get and what quantity? I see 9.5 litres from dry, but assume it's less for a drain and filter change?

Thanks,
Mike

Pretty much the same principle, personally i got the stealer to do it as it is only around £100 labour and you would have to buy the parts in any case.

Plus they have the tools, ramp, diagnostics to check the temperature of the box when filling (important) There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
