I just HATE the quick, simple job that ends up taking half the day. I feel your pain. |

The little plastic clips are the pain, they wont pull out, it is possible to screw then out gently but more often than not they snap off, they seem to be an "improvement" over the d3 where the gutter trims are pictured as clipping in, god knows why, all bar 2 of mine snapped off. Obviously be careful drilling them out, i managed not to drill through the roof but it would be all too easy!

Mine is an HSE so already has the short rails as standard so I'm hoping this will make life much easier??? |

Possibly, they should just screw off then you will only have to take the clips out of the holes on the lower section of the roof, and then get the plastic out and bolt the front fixing on the extended rails into the exposed captive nut the rails bolt over the gutter trim. Piece of pee for a man with enough tools!
