Door mirrors not staying in parked position

Hi there, My door mirrors wont stay in when i press the button. They just go in and then straight away go back out. Not a feature i would use often but occassionaly it would have been useful. Welcome any ideas on how to get them to work properly.

Electronic gremlins are a pain.

There are only 2 things I can suggest.

1. remove the relevant fuse and replace, then see if it still happens
2. Take it to the Dealer, they'll probably need to plug into the OBD to fix it. Discovery 4 HSE

Thanks for that. I just hate dending the car to a dealer each time for them to hook it on the computer and i get a nice fat bill. The local dealers rate is £130 oer hour and i am not sure it is worth finding out for that sort of money!!!! I will probally wait until i have a couple of issues so i only pay once. I have found that with the electric gremlins that sometimes the specialists have not been successful and it has taken a main dealer to resolve. I was hoping the mirror problem was a regular issue that is easy to resolve without going to the dealer. Thanks for your reply. Adrian - ps although i know what you mean, what does OBD stand for - On board ??
