You people complain about one word not being acceptable in a forum which does not accept many words.

i assume that the rhyme used in the unbroadcast scene has never been heard in times bt previous generations, , by ancestors.... let alone is this 'thin ice' day and age of political steadfastness.

Load of bol locks over nothing , all this " Minorities getting upset at the use of a certain word " Sooner or later people will be seriously having to think before they open their mouth in fear of upsetting "other people" ...

Whole load of rubbish from what I can see (not that I voted that way... I voted 'No' it's not the end of TopGear/Clarkson - should have read the question which swaps the answer around...)

I always thought offence was taken, not given. So let the BBC sack him. ITV will hire him, release a new series called "Top Cars", May & Hammond will also jump ship and it'll all be back to normal. |

The 'N' word is used in a host of circumstances in the traditionally black rap/hip hop music community, in some blockbuster films and in modern life....it's not a word I like as it means much more than a skin colour so he deserves a slapped wrist but sacking is a bit strong....
