Dan sells some good wheel tyre combo's at times so maybe give him a shout? Also stick up your wanted ad as you never know what someone has out there |

Anyone got any views as to how good Conti Cross Contact UHP's are as a summer tyre?

That's exactly how the front two on the used set on the rims I'm about to buy. Once they're like that (they all have 5mm at the centre) do I have to replace them much quicker? |

Don't worry about road tyres at all. In the picture below you can see a 2007 TDV8 halfway up its doors in a slurry puddle. That was on 255/50/20 Pirelli Scorpions.

Wow! We have puddles like that on the farm - plus a ford that's probably akin to that. I'm probably not brave enough to take my only form of transport through them though.. |

Check out the photos in this thread. It was this day on Salisbury Plains. We all went through the deep ford, most of us did the muddy puddles and so on. Nobody got stuck though which is testament to the vehicles. I think we were all on road tyres too.

Hmmm. That was my concern too. And if I replace 2 that means actually all four.
