I can see the benefits to Virgin for this, Land Rover represents exploration, pioneering vehicles, clever design, solid, trustworthy, etc. etc. but what are Land Rover going to get out of this. I thought space travel was an inherently risky business, if anything goes wrong then your company name would be linked with that forever more. So a chance, however small of an image and marketing problem should something go wrong. For what massive benefit.
