My sons opened a garage this year
Here's the deal no catch
I'm organising a barby at my sons garage in either late august or early sept
I've sent invites out to car and bike clubs within 100miles and had good response
There will be a free barby ( made on 2 45 gallon drums) , free soft drinks and beers.
Will be either on a Saturday or Sunday and will go on all day/ night
Have got a dj etc and will be giving out trophys
If you want to stay over I can get people into local hotels and you can leave coupes overnight locked up if you want
Ill post more details later but all are welcome
What do I get out of it .... Nowt
Son gets his garage on local map a bit more
I meet loads of like minded people and have s crack
Tentative interest from bike and car mags
Looking to make this a yearly thing for the crack
It on an industrial estate so no Greif with local plod
I'm looking at getting local suppliers to get involved with cheap gear on stalls too
Mate owns a car hifi place
Valeting company will be there with bikini wash
Window tint company etc etc
Hopefully you jocks and Yorkshire puddings will turn up
