Thanks & goodbye

As the title says thanks, thanks for sharing the vast amount of ffrr knowledge over the last 5 years and also giving me a good laugh on almost a daily basis, but after 33 years of rr/ discovery ownership I have bought a xf and so the ffrr must go.

Malcolm

If you don't mind me asking which XF did you buy and how do you find it.
Only reason I ask is because I am tempted to get a 2011 XF 3.0 S myself but not sure what it is like to live with.

I had a BMW F10 520d M Sport and it was a bloody fantastic car - I sold it last month and I am somewhat regretting it but it had to go as it was the right time for the car. I am tempted to get another but the number of them on the road is quite off putting now.

XF seems like a lovely car and not as frequent on the road.

Wife has a XF although a 2.7 and she loves it , before she had Merc's and such and always said she would never drive a Jaguar as she thought they were old mens cars , now i can't get her to change the friggin thing .... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Have to say its a really good car , handles great performance for a 2.7 diesel is really good too Thumbs Up ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

We'll I bought the Wife an XF 3.0 Premium Luxury brand new back in 2010 and she simply wont let me change it. 60k on the clock now and she adores it.

I did have the 2.2 a while back as a courtesy car and I wouldn't choose that engine. Its more than a tad agricultural although it is frugal. The 3.0 is vastly superior, but I'd have the 5.0 Portfolio if I could.

Lovely car though

I have bought a 3ltr luxury with 26000 miles and after all the years (33) in land rovers it seems to go round corners on rails and it has fair bit of get and go, so it's early days yet but I am happy with it, time will tell!!
