Very impressive result - yea pointless as a machete is a work tool (mine cost less than a tenner too) and that thing will probably never get used as one but its still impressive.

I've seen a few vids of people making custom home made hunting knives from old files, I'd like to try doing that myself one day but I need a forge for hardening/tempering.
