New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Some people have the rear lettering removed from cars (or not installed) as they like the clean look. Not sure that I mind.

Thanks guys, I also think it is a great car (obviously) and hope to do many many miles without issues in it. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Bournville

Great colour combo and petrol to boot Thumbs Up
With regards to the diesel turbos I think there is a known fault / TSB with the spring that opens and closes the turbo that jams restricting engine performance, I think the spring mechanism gets replaced as part of the TSB if it fails. As others have said it might be worth trying to get to the bottom of the missing badges for your peace of mind, the top rear tailgates are notorious for rusting on the bottom edge of the tailgate. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Very nice!

Looks like the one Baker Brothers had for sale recently.

Love the colour, too. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

@Bellini, it is the Baker Brothers one Smile
@ Frank, probably will do that
@ Craig, you may be on to something although Gary didn't find anything "fishy" with the car sofar but will ask him to ask Smile
@ vnitos, will do love going to SA and see friends and family
@ Smithins, nope the 06 is a LHD and still in Nigeria. Selling it there. Considered importing it here but the LHD will make it less than optimal here so decided to find a nice RHD and I did.
@ Kurt, thanks so do i !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Glad you stayed in the SC club, even better you joined the highly revered 5.0 SC club Cool

It really is a totally different drive to the 4.2, so smooth and brutally quick, a real performance V8 rather than just a load of V8 growl and noise. (BTW, I am NOT saying the 4.2 is like that, nor saying its rubbish, its just different and I like them both!)

Prefer the green, I'd be putting privacy glass in it, and the top tailgate needs the lettering. I wouldn't worry too much as to why it's missing, most probably a respray, as long as the shut lines all look equal and 'right' I wouldn't be concerned.

It is nice to still be in a SC and much better to have my favourite 5.0 SC. I wanted it since it came out, just the thought of that amount of horse power and torque with the smoothness is exactly how I like my cars. No noise, no fuss just blistering performance. The 4.2 never disappointed me for a second (apart from the gearbox issues), even with the fuel system issues (new pumps and cleaning of the fuel system and inlet tract solved that for good) so I am very much looking forward to driving it. And it got me into the highly revered 5.0 SC club as well, BIG BONUS Cool

As for the lettering, I will definitely put it back. Gary found nothing wrong with the car so they either did a very good job fixing it or the lettering was removed on purpose. I already looked at Powerful UK last night but didn't get a chance to order anything. Will do so before I travel to Europe on my next trip.

Just need to get the insurance sorted as well and that is a bit difficult as I don't live in the UK (I need to keep the car there till I have the import permit sorted in Malaysia AND I have owned it for 6 months).

Avatar problem I hope Martin will sort it soon, right now I can only choose Bournville as colour Sad MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
