I'm not sure they were winter tyres as I couldn't see any sipes on them.

Here's a screen capture of the tyre. Doesn't look like a snow tyre. Don't know how he stayed on the track.

As for the tyres you can see the hand cut transverse grooves on the rears and then it switches to a set of winter tyres for the rest of the clip . 2008 MY Supercharged

Different tyres - infact different wheels - the ones you can see at 1:30 are very different to the ones he's got on at 2:00 - so clearly edited together.
