can a ptz camera be wired up to be controlled by a ptz controller and a dvr.. ... - .- -.

i have a ptz wired to a controller but i want to also wire it to a network dvr so that i have both options to control it..i'm not sure whether if using the dvr it over rides the controller and vice versa.. ... - .- -.

I don't think that'll ork Stan, as I not think the protocol(Pelco or rs485)allows for any particular controller to be a "master", so the camera might get a bit confused. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
