Well i got 4 new tyres fitted and put 4 new tpms sensors on. They were registered automatically ok after about 15 mins as they're supposed to. Everything fine I thought. Then today while driving along I get a "Tyre Monitoring System Fault" message and the amber tyre symbol flashing. Has anyone had this? It was operating pretty reliably for me previously but I changed them since the batteries in the originals were nearing end of life.

i found my system showing errors all the time so i switched it all off with an iidtool.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, I did see this and also in the shop manual it says this error comes up if more than one tyre sensor fails. Seems hard to believe this happened simultaneously. I'm with Stan. IID and turn it off in the CCF.

It's not hard. Even I managed to do it! (With nice step-by-step instructions from the IID folks.)

I thought mine had sorted themselves out as were working perfectly for a month or so. Then hit a pot hole last week and I'm back to constant amber lights. Anyone near Sudbury Suffolk able to turn the bloody things off for me lol

Sorry - can't remember, but it was pretty obvious - it's about the only thing I've done with my IID - it might even have been under TPMS

Thanks Alistair, error message seems to have gone away this morning, but I still want to turn the TPMS off so I'll dig around in the CCF this weekend.

Same with mine. Goes off for a few days and then flags TPMS equipment failure for few days, and repeat. Still to get an IID tool and this will be the first thing I do. 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE Java Black
