Reverse cam black screen

As above, in reverse mode the satnav screen gives only a black image with the text "be careful with ...." etc, but no image at all. Tried to find info in the wiki, but not found yet. Anyone ...?
Thanks in advance
Robert

Thanks Stan, I had looked in the back, everything dry, looked for loose contacts, did some wiki reading, hoped for a simple "push this button" solution.

Thanks, yes I cleaned the camera Very Happy and you wont believe it, I couldn't find anything wrong, as far as my limited technical knowledge helped me., got irritated and gave it a knock on it's head. NOW IT WORKS... Mr. Green

Robert in times of strife a swift tap will usually suffice, why do you think hammers have been around for ever Very Happy

stRange Rover, indeed I love it, it has nearly the same weird behaviour as a vintage car.

If your car is pre 2009 the camera casing has a seam around it, water often gets in here.

Sorry but it is most likely dead.

It may come back on if it dries out and hasn't already shorted out.

Sorry it's not better news.
