LOAN CAR

had my range rover broken into on thursday night
the scroats smshed the side window and took loads of stuff
car went into stratstone newport pagnall on monday morning for new glass and trim , thru my insurance company, and stratstone lent me (yes lent me) a 62 plate p/ex vogue until my one is completed
i'm always first when it comes to complain about their sometimes poor service but credit due, this was a nice gesture from them
Thumbs Up to stratstone on this occassion

Ian, I have Supaglass laminate fitted in my 2004 adn whilst I try and never leave anything on view, I reckon it would delay an assailant enough to have to leave before getting in. Worth investing in yours when it returns?

I think that's fair. If you're prone to complaining about bad service (and I am), the trade off is to make sure to be equally complementary for good service.

Sorry to hear about the car . I had that happen to my Honda (before FFRR). They did a good bit of damage and the body shop I went to had THREE goes to fix the car. (Insurance company was great and agreed that things were still not right and the body shop was too incompetent to fix it.) The car finally went to the local main dealer with the instructions "disassemble car, reassemble properly." Which they did. Very Happy

craig
the loan car was not thru the insurance company at all
the dealer principle at stratstone is a friend so it was a personal loan really Thumbs Up
normally lends me a new model vogue or sport when i get it serviced or repaired as well Thumbs Up
never have a lesser model
only trouble is it spoils you when you have the new model and you then have to give it back Big Cry Big Cry
