drl wiring auto off how to?

hello everyone,
just recently fitted quality Philips drl's which have automatic dim when connected to parking light circuit and the car parking lights activated,
however even though they dim 50% I still feel they look bright at night, is there any way I can now wire this to auto switch off, when car side and dipped lights activated?
jumper wire to somewhere or another relay etc Confused
I have one wire out of the auto control box what normally wires to the light circuit to dim rather than switch off drls? don't really want to buy another control box to do this if possible when I could use the existing one with a simple modification or suggestion from you good people in the know out there.lol
