Hey Cliffy, I'm sort of on the same boat. I don't have a Bosh S5, I think mine is an S3 or something. But regardless, I think the battery is not the point but rather maybe the FSR. Now I fitted a new FSR on my Rangie about last year. Followed all the steps, broke a tab , etc. But still my vehicle suffers with battery drainage. I've had to boost the Rangie with my other vehicle over 2-3 times last year (mind you after I replaced the FSR). And even after installing the FSR I've heard my fan go on during the summer days even when the vehicle is shutdown and locked. Maybe I didn't install the FSR properly (which I'm quite positive I did because my AC blower speeds are fine most of the time), so not really sure why we are being punished like this lol but I'll keep on poking around until I find what's causing this (sometimes I think I might need that new Hevac harness people talk about) Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

Just got mine changed under warranty today at ECP, Bosch S5, had it for two years but car fails to start after a cold night so just took it down for a check, which was sort of OK but they changed it anyway. They did say that I only have 3 years warranty left, so I said I'd see them before that. Geoff |

That's one thing that annoys me about warranties, if the item is replaced surely it should be classed as new and the warranty re-starts as it were.
