But of an odd one, and I've read the post here which seemed very similar, but I do have the loop in place as was this chaps solution.

The problem is the same: the car phone works, but only the handset. If I switch to handsfree it's silent, it switches over and mutes the radio, but I get no sound.

The voice rec seems to listen OK, but it doesn't speak back to me.

I think the car had a new DSP amp at some point in its life due to water ingress, so maybe the new one is faulty too?

Any thoughts?
