We're located in Altrincham and need to get a service done for our TDV8 Westminster (2009, 44k miles). The car unfortunately will need be sold in the spring but I've managed to eek out a few more months ownership- too busy to sell at the moment!

I need to sort out getting a service done on the car: (5 year). The car has also developed the 3 second solid beep when reversing with no rear park assist so I assume a sensor has failed. Any idea of potential costs and is it a problem if the sensor are colour coded?

I've been calling around today to try to get an idea of prices but the Dealers are never great at calling back and the Indys are often closed.

Could anyone recommend a local Independent Specialist and give me an idea of what I might be looking at paying for the service? DSE in Macclesfield serviced the car for the previous owner. I had the battery replaced by them and was really pleased with the service but they are not open today to speak to.

An update re; the parking sensors: they appear to be working again now but the second sensor in from the nearside appears not to work. I'm guessing that is the problem.

At least they don't appear to be colour coded.

Dealer quoted £60 for the sensor alone!
