24 Month service and cold start noise appeared

Hi

Just booked up a 24 month service with main dealer and have covered 22k miles. I have a couple of issues that I have found that need attention, 1. rust on the rear screen lower side edge trim, this looks horrible. 2. Lower tailgate is rattling so guessing the catches need some adjustment. More concerning though is the noise from the engine on a cold start. This has developed over the last few weeks and seems to be coming from the lower LH side of the engine bay when facing the engine. I will attempt to attach a link to a wav file. This is a loud chirp some days and others just sounds like the link. Any ideas? I am going to speak to dealer and drop it in the night before so they can hear the noise for themselves. But sods law they either forget to listen out or it doesn't make the noise on the day.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Here's the link to the wav file

Did you get to the bottom of the noise? Can't open the sound link but mine makes a racket for just a couple of seconds on the offside (driver's) during cold starts, then settles down nicely. Previous cars:

Hi

Reported it to main dealer when in for a service along with the rusty rear screen trims and it is booked back in to have a rogue pulley replaced under warranty in April which was the earliest date due to the parts not being available. I will update when job done is 6 weeks or so. Rear screen trims replaced without question when the service was done.

Regards
