Thanks for that Stan, so there will not be plugs on the original camera, do you think, it will be just be a case of cutting the existing wires and fitting plugs to suit the new camera. I wonder if the existing camera comes out of its mounting and with a bit of effort the new camera will fit in its place. I am just trying to improve the rear vision at night a bit.

It's a different size & shape to the original camera - I would think that will be the most effort. You will also need to check the viewing angle.
