3M double sided tape RS stock number 503-4907, £4.39 per roll of 9mm wide tape, is good stuff. It's got a red coloured tear-off layer and is very sticky, I've used it for years on aircraft. And coming from RS, you know it's genuine 3M, plus their stock turnover means it's probably not been on the shelf for too long.
