Hi all

Does anyone know or trust any good LR independents around west London or just outside that I can take my 4.4TDV8 for its third annual service? Cost is important but quality and good work comes first and don't mind paying a little more for it.

I would prefer to take to Cam-Tech Craig and have seen one or two recommendations for Essex 4x4 on this thread but for now they are too far away.

Guava Land Rover in Guildford are very good.

They're not a main dealer but are main dealer approved.

Can also recommend Will at Guava - sorted out my TDV8 pretty quickly. Another alternative is Challenger 4x4, not used them for an FFRR (only had it a month or so) but very good on the Defender. Well known in "proper" Land Rover circles.

I took it to them for its first service under my ownership and mentioned I'd just got it so anything they noticed would be appreciated. Got a huge list of things off them and first thought was oh-god what have I bought... Was just a load of little things like the brakes would last about 10k more, bearings were beginning to wear. Given the comprehensiveness of the list they all but stripped the vehicle down and inspected it free of charge. Very reasonable rates for the South East as well.

Kings Langley Land Rover ( in Kings Langley) just off the M25, may be a little to far north for you.

Guava was too far but have only seen positive feedback for them.
