What's your average annual mileage in the Supercharged?

Hi,

In 10 months ownership, the car has travelled approx 8,000 miles (all on super unleaded, mostly on Shell VPower Nitro+).

I've only just started thinking about how many miles we've done in it and wondering how much that will have cost because in the last week, we've made 4 trips to filling stations and those trips have cost £306.78. Like my service and maintenance records, I've got all the [fuel] receipts!

We don't drive the SC hard and we don't fully exploit it's capacity. Nor do we drive around trying to squeeze what we can out of the mpg. It's 'just' driven carefully and 'normally'.

Wondering if our mileage is highish for one of these or not?

Thumbs Up

Why V Power or Super unleaded my friend? Do you find any difference from using ordinary petrol? I know its been discussed on here once or twice before and not really found it of any benefit... Thumbs Up

Ahem... truthfully? ... I couldn't say if it's better than normal unleaded Craig. The car does run velvet smooth though although having never driven an SC until getting this one and having never really used normal unleaded in it, I've nothing to compare it with but I just thought that as I was given well informed info that this stuff is better for the car, then for the sake of a few pounds per tank, I might as well feed it with 'the best' stuff.

@Sandyt - that's a lot in 2.5 months for any car!

I've read a few posts from people who seem to buy the SC as weekend cars or who do low miles, hence the post.

Thumbs Up
