Or if you have a local office you can go in with both and the current tax and they will swap it all over there and then |

Spot on David. Obviously they are in the business of making as much money as possible but it's frustrating when you can afford to buy a product but appear to get penalised for not resorting to borrowing money to 'buy it'. For example, your 'discount' example and/ or some dealers currently offering more than one free service to those taking out their finance packages on cars.
