For grass you should really get these bad boys fitted Smile

Only let me down once when i was going up a grassy/muddy extremely steep incline behind 2 cherokee's that had already been chewing it up as the one in front of me had road biased tyres on and didnt make it all the way Sad

Now that's more like it! Twisted Evil

I did ponder the MTRs but I'm hoping the ATs will be good enough for most conditions that I can out the part worn Pirellis on the 4x spare rims I'll have to make the new tyre acquisition even more thrifty.

What is a set of 4x ever so slightly scruffy vogue 19" alloys with Pirelli Zeros on with 3-4mm tread worth?

Cheers

Got the AT's fitted yesterday. Yes it's looking a bit of a grubby old shed at the mo.

The tyres have made a huge difference to the ride and handling. The old Scorpion Zeros were down to 4-5mm tread and ride was harsh, steering heavy and they were tramming.

Now the ride is far more compliant, the steering better and indeed the wheel doesn't fight you for a change of direction on the move. Very Happy

Noise-wise these seem quieter than the AT2s I've used in the past on other vehicles. It's just a very gentle hum between 30-50 mph. Even then you have to listen for it. The only time it's really noticeable is slowing under braking.

Balance seems fine too with no vibrations at all.

Cheers
