I rang my insurance company before I bought the car to ask the situation As I had two questions with the car being salvage and facelifted. With regards to repaired salvage in the event of a claim they said I would lose around 15% off normal pay out. As I have saved a lot more than that in purchase price I can suffer that no problem. With the facelift they didn't even want to apply a loading as all parts used are genuine Land Rover, What they did say is if the car was damaged they would repair back to original spec That is not a problem either because if it needs a bumper and headlights its written off and im losing 15%, Thanks Mick. |

Thanks Mick It does seem fairly common that modified cars are returned to original in the event of an accident and claim. |
