Surfex HD

My car is at the Indy have extensive and expensive TLC. but today is Valentines Day and so I thought I would give the wifes car a treat, I bought some Surfex HD from Opie Oils diluted it to 20% strength and added it to the detergent container on my very old jet wash and set to work - 20 minutes later all the recent salt, and other road debris (sort of a tide mark round the bottom half) is gone and I have to say it looks good. The car had been previously treated with some gtechniq sealant, which I am sure helped. I also Dodo juiced the front wheels as the Surfex was OK on the back but the fronts needed a little more.

Got to say it looks good and I got everything packed away and back in the garage before my tea went cold, not a substitute for a proper wash but a good stop gap.

Wonder what the wife will do for me on Valentines Day Whistle Geoff
