You can drive round the island in about an hour and a half , there no motorways just A roads ,

70k on A roads is a long old way at 40mph

Yeah but there are also many 20mph speed limits and even 15mph speed limits around the island ....

Remember once i got pulled over for doing 32mph in Guernsey when i worked there , got the usual "walk the white line , touch your nose , touch your toes scenario"
