2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
"Vehicle slow to lift" message

Hi,
Drove the wife's car the other day and thought I would exercise the air suspension. Rising to off road took a while and the slow to lift message appeared. I dropped her to access height and up again and same result. What could the reason be?
I have contacted the dealer and allow initially saying he would have a look, when the wife called to book her in, he said it was likely a wiring issue, warranty would not cover it and just forget it.
I'm not too happy with that and wondered if anyone had any suggestions?
She is still under LR warranty and I would have hoped that would cover these sorts of issues.
As I understand it, an accumulator supplies the air to the suspension. The accumulator is topped up by a compressor that lives in the spare wheel void.
Any ideas?
The car is a 08my tdv8 vogue se.
Kind regards,

Thanks chaps. This first happened after 4 miles of driving so would the accumulator not be fully charged for the first lift?
Where does the exhaust live? The car has done a bit of paddling recently... '96 Volkswagen Polo 1.4CL - SOLD

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

As the car is over 5 years old it will be on a LR select warranty, which doesnt cover quite a lot, however it does cover most of the air suspension.

I would get the dealer to investigate properly, get a diagnostic done thenyou will know if the warranty covers. You may have to pay for the diagnostic and if the part isnt covered but it should all be free to you if the final fault is found to be covered.... Doubt its wiring related!

If the car raises slowly, its probably rising on the compressor not the accmulator, possibly a leaky safety valve. Have a search as km sure there is someone who has had a skmilar problem. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
