@Contraband, what's it all about, my 18 year old is not bothered either way, I was driving at 13(offroad) and my life was focussed on passing my test!! What's wrong with them nowadays, ' I don't believe it@

Passing my test was everything when I was 17.... I blame technology, progress, Facebook etc..
I had to go and see my friends in order to "interact", now they just sit infront of computers to communicate.
Computers should be used for porn only, not talking to friends!  Previously..

Phew - I thought it was just me - my son is car mad - bought a runaround for him to learn in & he's very much take it or leave it - hasn't booked his theory test etc.

Doesn't bother me too much as the insurance goes through the roof once he passes.

Took me 4 weeks from turning 17 to passing my test.

tell him, he can use a car to have a bunk-up in!

or do they just do on Skype nowadays?

I'd rather he used his bedroom for that -at least I don't have to use his bed - might need to borrow the car.
