Just seen this on Gumtree.

It's fairly local to me so if anyone wants me to take a look for them I'm more then happy to one evening this week.

David.

P.s It's not my car and I'm not connected to the seller in any way. Just happy to lend a hand if anyone wishes. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Doesnt look like an AB to me, that and they didn't start the AB on the L322 until 2003, and the screens are in the back of the seat instead of the headrests. I cant see the tread plates to see if they have the AB logo there, people rarely bother with that when faking them.

Just looks like they've added some tacky accessories and an AB badge, 7.5K? I think not.

My old AB, now Dolphinboys:

Ahh.

I always thought it was the screens in the headrests that were original, didn't realise it was the ones in the seats!

I was also under the impression that you could only tell the difference by the logbook, didn't realise there were badge on the tread plates!

You live and learn Thumbs Up

I keep looking for an early L322 to use as a daily and move on one of our P38's. What's the general consensus value wise of a 2002 V8 with between 80 and 100k on the clock? I'd like one with around 60 - 70 ideally but just wondered how (if?) the value decreases as the mileage ventures nearer the 100k mark.

It does dip a little bit but at that age it's more condition than mileage that should worry you,

If it's had loads of owners then likely lots of issues.

The V8's are good value at the minute and sometimes come up with little damage on certain car recycler sites for about £4k FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Headrests in the early cars were too small for a decent screen.

After the 06 facelift they went to headrest screens

Dan maybe able to confirm this? All genuine AB cars used to have an Autobiography plaque on the slam panel... Just another way to check Thumbs Up

But yes, up until the touchscreen uplift there were no such things as factory headrest screens in a FFRR... The factory RSE was in the rear section of the seats, the audio system was improved and there are two extra speakers in the tailgate panel Thumbs Up

Ahh, thanks guys.

I'm leaning more towards looking for an AJV8 or Supercharged L322 at the moment but keep talking myself out of it and looking at other cars instead.

I'm sure I'll make my mind up one day.
