So the Rangie would not turn over on Saturday morning, last used on Friday night. interior lights dim and more messages on the dash than you can poke a stick at.

Went for the same, the original is a denso unit too. So should last.

Went to CP4Less and two Denso models showing for my FFRR. 401670210 and 401670220.Any idea which one? Also I can't find any voucher on the home page. Did I miss out? 2012 5.0L S/C

looks like I need a denso unit then, will pull it out at the weekend and see if it is a 6pk or an 8pk.

Have a look on lrparts.ru at microcat as there was a changeover vin, think i pit it in the other alternator q thread running, pre changeover seems to be 6pk and post changeover 8pk we thinks. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

He's ok to do it labour only �55 plus the dreaded VAT per hour. Obviously he prefers to source the parts but in this case his price was not too far off the cp4less price. The issue is the number of hours. I told him it could be done in three hours (for a professional who's done it before). He was giving himself a little room to move. So the consensus is that 4 hours is probably reasonable. That's �264. So about �500 all in.
