Reliability.

I have just spent hours and hundreds of miles rescuing the owners (all family linked) of three broken down cars and not one of them was driving a FFRR!

1st was a modded '96 MR2 Turbo and let's face it, not a big surprise that it cried enough!

2nd was a November 2012 Corsa 1.0 Ecoflex with less than 10K on the clock.

The 3rd was a 3month old Mazda 3 with just over 3K on the clock(all the threes Rolling with laughter ).

My Range Rover covered the distances effortlessly and towed 2 of them on a car trailer, hardly even noticing they were attached. The stranded owners to a man ( although 2 of them were woman Laughing ) all fell asleep in the warmth and serenity of the FFRR and it's cosseting seats. I survived surprisingly fresh and was even more impressed with getting over 17mpg for some pretty heavy duty work.

Hope that is the end of my rescuing duties for a while, but it is good to know the FFRR can sometimes be on the good side of the reliability war Thumbs Up

It is now absolutely filthy, inside and out, so a thorough cleaning will be on the cards, once the Corsa is delivered to a dealer tomorrow Exclamation Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

^ ^ Agreed, Stan - there can be a tendency to focus on the negative issues. Nightmare problems are not the preserve of Land Rovers - big bills can be run up with any motor nowadays, from the mundane to those alleged prestigious German brands !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

I find the german marques have as many reliabilty issues if not more than landrovers, its just the rangerover tax on parts and labour that make it more painfull
