Did they then check the coolant temp to see if it was the FBH or the changeover valve at fault? |

I don't know to be honest. I will ask. They should know as a Land Rover dealer I should think. |

Interesting - if it's that easy to remove, it must be that easy to retrofit (plus different valve block) |

No Dan, 99% of a FBH failure is down to the same couple of resistors failing in the pcb.

Sounds like the same problem I had. Sent mine ti French Mike, took about 7-8 days but was over the Xmas period. I think he says around 4-5 days turnaround. You can still use the Range. You have to connect the water pipes together with a bit of 3/4 copper pipe. I plugged the fuel line just in case, but I think because the FBH is out it doesn't demand the fuel. |

So I have just had FBH replaced, new from Land Rover on my 08 TDV8 and the diesel pump, which was suspected at fault first.

Same for me, had my FBH replaced by a new one from Land Rover and it still doesn't heat up the cabin (it is only blowing cold air even when cold outside). It should blow hot air when the outside temperature is below 15°C not 7°C. |

I believe the activation temp / run times varies depending on MY |
