Finally got one!

Picked it up today from a private sale. A 2007 07 TDV8 Vogue in Stornoway grey with s/c grill and wheels. Still got a couple of months warranty left so will be looking closely for any niggles like:

1) Wipers make a knock noise at the top of their cycle. this has damaged (scraped the windscreen)
2) rear screenwash inoperative
3) Squeal on brakes (not warranty obviously)
4) Drivers seat heater intermittent not working and comes on if you mess with the seat base (will they fix this or does it have to fail completely)

Can anyone else think of anything I should be looking closer at before warranty expiry?? ANY tips would be gratefully received. I don't want something to fail 2 weeks after the warranty goes if I can nudge it now and get it fixed!

Heres a crap pic. Better pics after an 8 hour clean!! Shocked

It was a private sale. He was a bit of an auto trader but this was his own car / registered to him.

Gaz,

True, as long as you don't mind the tyre sizes being the wrong speed and load rating, the wrong size for the car and your insurance being voided in the event of an accident...yeah , they're great!

If the load rating is equal or greater to requirement why would they be illegal and void insurance? I had Stormers with 275/40 R20's on a previous RR that you can get for £800 package with Toyo Tyres and the circumference is only slightly out and load rating greater than standard tyres.

They are definitely RRS Stormers as they have the ridge line down the centre of the spokes, the FFRR SC 20" versions did not. Discovery 4 HSE
