yes, thanks for that pro tip! The other side of the road is north facing, but unfortunately, due to having a milk float, I have to charge it so I prefer the south side of the road. I am not complaining that it gets absolutely baking hot, mind you. I'll need to get into the habit of parking my bum in the direction of afternoon sun, I think.

Weegie, that is literally the most insane accessory I have ever seen! I wonder how many people have set off up the motorway with it deployed and minted to get airborne.

I went ahead and ordered the sunshade from California. Apparently, it is custom size and it is cardboard foldable, like OEM LR sunshades. I’ll let you know by mid-June if it fits or not... else 30 day returns and I have to pay the postage! So it WILL fit one way or another  L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Moral of the story... if you have a solar windscreen you probably will not benefit much from a custom fit windscreen shade

Note, the temperatures I posted were on a cloudless day with my car facing due east, and with pano roof blind closed. I might do this experiment again of the sun ever returns just to confirm the solar attenuating windscreen really is effective regardless of a physical sun shade.
