Conversion insurance costs.

Lots of conversion posts, but only a few about the difference it makes to the insurance.

Im thinking about undertaking a 2010 conversion and would appreciate any experiences of whats the best way to inform the insurance company.

Body kit, i presume.

Mine went down as a body kit - that was the best we could find on their list of options.

I also told them I'd got different wheels, but they were official RR ones, so they just ticked the alloy wheels box.

Sorry, couldn't resist...

We give a letter on request with our conversions stating the conversion uses all genuine OE JLR parts. As most insurance companies only want to be assured they can fix any bodywork damage without extra expence... Thumbs Up
