Are you sure your battery is still up to the task?

Yeah, I thought of the battery, but that usually makes the starter turn slower/less every time I turn the key.

Well, still not finished at the garage. They had to change some bushings as well. And the they had to replace the steering column, because some at the garage in Spain had pulled its clamps through the holders inside the dashboard. So the steering wheel was loose. I thought it was just the electric adjusting that was off, but no. Loose steering wheel...

Still not finished. Maybe monday/tuesday the say. The local dealer is unbelievably crap so some guys at OEC has it. They all drive LR's so the must be good for something. The figured out the transmission problem was caused by the gearshift motor, due for changing. This is gonna cost. Latest figure about 3000 pounds total. |

Well, with the prices in Norway, especially for cars like these you would have opted for repair also.

Sorry, did not know they were that price , would it not have been cheaper to get one from the uk and drive it over. i can understand now why you would pay that for repair. |

That would have been cheaper, but to register a car in Norway you have to put a norwegian license plate on it, and of course pay the taxes on it, so the amount saved would be marginal and not worth the hassle.
