^^ The Carat just looks in proportion, and the larger D pillar helps allot with that .....while that other brute just looks like a ff cut in half with a bit added in the middle....similar to a hurst.

Most lwb cars look out of proportion to me, but I like the Carat one better as the one in Craigs link, it looks better in proportion, a better solution, looks more like a car, the two other ones are more like busses. The last one looks like two ffrr glued together-and there is no explaining in "I like" ... Craig- it' all in the eye of ...

Better to stick the length in the rear door for shorter stretches, then no need to butcher the glasshouse:

The stroy behind the one Craig mentionned is that the family woning it needed seats for all the kids for the school run (I know...) whereas all the other 3 conversions mentioned here were for extra leg room or ego Rolling Eyes

I like them all but the lonnnng burgundy one. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Quite neat, has reclining back seats and a glass roof - supposed to be a 60cm-stretched version too, not sure if any were built.

Must admit a perverse interest in the coachbuilt stuff.

I'm inclined to agree from the photo's, but think it's just the angle (and maybe the tints)

It's because it's a 7 seater and when the door is open it allows better rear seat access... Thumbs Up
