Just been reading napplers thread, and I have noticed that I have had a brief hdc inactive warning a couple of times, at start up, in the last month, and also the tickover sometimes goes up to 900rpm for a while and then drops back to normal after a while.
I am presuming the battery is a bit low, or maybe on the way out, but saying that its only done short runs lately and its not used every day, if it continues is the best battery to get the bosch one people seem to swear by, and is it the same battery for the td6 and the 4.4 v8 bmw eng [which mine is].
